So all the bands are reforming, The police, Wham, Wet wet wet. I have a heartfelt plea, if the greatest band off all time read this, please. reform Ultravox.

One of the reasons we of a certain age / generation are desperate to hear "our" bands play again is that they anchor us back to a time in our lives when we had little responsibility, little money most of the time, and only one place to go other than pub - up or out of of it. Yes it makes money for these bands, but they offer us the opportunity to time travel a la Dr Who either via a download, a piece of plastic, a video/tv moment, a radio or fully by seeing them live and thinking god they look worse than I do!
Midge Ure......Vienna.....I'm getting goose bumps with the evocations of that time, that opening music, the cello's, violins....
