There is talk on the radio today about roadside shrines, flowers left on lamp posts for example. people are saying they should be banned. One caller rang the station and commented that as far as he was concerned it was littering, and people could be fined for it.

One good thing about it, surely it will show people that an accident has allready occured, and encourage people to be more vigilant, and also, would you really take away the friend and familys right to grieve, and mark the spot that a loved one fell?
