OK. So heres the thing. Old people dont all have manors. Because thats what they always say dont they, 'when we were young we were taught to respect people'. They dont respect us do they, not all of them.
Yesterday I was in Tesco perusing the fresh fish counter (yes, i do eat healthly some times) and some old woman rammed her trolly into my shin and prononced 'Oy. i wanna get in here'. 
What happened to her manors? What was wrong with 'excuse me young man. could i get in there please?'or better still, waiting her turn. Good manors dont cost anything do they?
It's always the older generation who say things like 'Oooo the youth of today. they have no respect.' maybe somne of them aught to consider the words Pot, Kettle and Black.

When I first read this post, I thought you meant 'manors' as in the grand building!
