Yes, we appear to have been hit by the worst rain for half a century. My wife is un able to get home from work, the person taking over from her unable to get in, so she has been at work since 8am, tried to leave at 4, got turned back by the police, and is now staying and doing the night shift. why? This is the road home!!!!

She will get paid, but she wears disposable contact lenses and doesnt have a spare pair and without them cant see to drive. At least now she will get tomorow off, but if the road doesnt clear she still wont be able to get home.

blimey thats a nightmare I thought we was supposed to be hit by a deluge too but it never came this far over for some reason mind you if it is that bad then I am glad. hope she makes it home today though and they better darn well pay her for a double shift! she is keeping the place running!
