The missing chapter.
@ Tuesday, Jul. 31, 2007 – 21.55:26
On Sunday I sat out in the garden withe the lap top working on my novel. it hasnt been much of a summer so far, and that was realy the first portunity i've had to spend time out there. I kept checking on Paddy's posts on his bloging 24 hour marathon, and back to my novel. I wrote a chapter, seven pages, out of my head (I usualy hand write it first) and was realy pleased with what i wrote. Tonight i have just come back to it, gone into the file, and it is not there, but i know i saved it. I've been through very file, hard drive, flash drive, nothing..gone.. for the life of me i cant remember what i wrote. i've been sitting here staring at the screen and hoping it would come back to me, but no. looks like it's back to the drawing board. it could be a long night.

Lost
@ Monday, Jul. 30, 2007 – 12.43:09
A friend of mine appears to have vanished off the face of the Earth.
It has been five weeks now since I saw/spoke to/heard from him.
He is not answering the door, his telephone, or returning my text messages.
I used to see him once a week, without fail. Now he seems to have dissapeared.
He lives alone, is out of work right now so nobody would miss him, his parents live in Spain, and his sister 40 miles away, so they do not see each other on a regular basis.

Oh no you dont! ( for Star Treck fans)
@ Friday, Jul. 27, 2007 – 15.49:07
I just heard some very disturbing news.
I pray this is not true.
What I heard chilled me to the very core.
Rumour has it, Robbie Williams has been lined up to play Captain James T Kirk in the latest Star treck movie.
I think a lot of Treckies will have plenty to say about that.
Robbie Williams has been in talks to star as Captain Kirk in an upcoming Star Trek movie, according to reports.
The 'Angel' singer voiced Dougal in animated movie Magic Roundabout in 2005 and has been offered a number of film roles ever since.
So far he has turned down a series of parts, but he is said to be a big Star Trek fan and is keen to revive Kirk.
Lost creator JJ Abrams said about him: "I think he'd be quite a good Captain Kirk. The Kirk in my movie is quite young, it's the early years."

@ Wednesday, Jul. 25, 2007 – 12.29:40
And if so, is it any good?
It starts tonight on BBC 2 , and i want to watch it after what i have read, but Wire in the blood is on at the same time. Is Heroes worth taping?

What a load of rubbish
@ Tuesday, Jul. 24, 2007 – 16.51:22
Today was our wheelie bin collection, it has been out on the pavement since last night, along with both neighbours. My wife just rang me at work, she just arrived home to discover it has not been emptied, though everyone else on the street has been emptied, and we only have fortnightly collections.
My wife just phoned and complained, and the woman on the other end of the phone (Who i realise is not to blaime, so it's no use having a go at her) said, she will get a mesage to them, and if they are still out they may come and collect it, if not we will have to wait another two weeks. It's been sitting here for two weeks allready. Do they want us to attract rats?
What do i pay my council tax for anyway?

oh yea, and this is the second time we got missed. Do you think it has anything to do with living directly opposite a junction?

Only three days to go....

Rain rain rain
@ Monday, Jul. 23, 2007 – 14.35:20
With all the rain that has fallen on the UK this month, do you think it might lead to a need for everyonr to get into water sports?
*easy...i mean cayaking and sailing*
Reminds me of something a friend once said about what he would do if he came into money. He said he would have all his fixtures and fittings made out of gold...Golden door knobs, golden taps, golden shower...

Passports
@ Saturday, Jul. 21, 2007 – 19.40:24
My wife wants to renew her passport. We were just looking on the website at all the things you need, and it seems a right rigmarole. It says taht if your apperance has changed you need a new photo, and it has to be signed by a policeman, doctor, lawyer etc...whats wrong with plumbers and builders?
Anyway,i got to wondering, do you think at some point Michael Jackson would have gone through passport controll, shown his passport and been told, 'sorry sir, this passport has a photograph of a blac man on it.'

Smoking ban
@ Saturday, Jul. 21, 2007 – 13.31:35
With the smoking ban now in force, are all pieces of fiction going to be up dated to bring them to the present day?
I have a vision in a few years time, kids reading a book and asking 'smoking section. What is that?'

I got tagged with this, so here goes....
There are crumbs in your bed cos lets face it you don't live in a show home. What kind of cookies do those crumbs come from?
Those Marks and Sparks orange ones that have the chocolate all the way round, they cost a packet but are mmm mmm!
2. You are sitting on the toilet brushing your teeth cos you are hung over as normal. What got you that drunk?
Dark Rum and coke, probably diet.
3. You have been dumped cos well, lets face it .. you are a loser. What comfort food do you grab? (after sticking pins in a voodoo doll obviously)
A family size block of cheese.
4. Your wife/husband has pissed you off (that means angry in the US by the way ... not watersports) so you decide to go have an expensive gourmet meal on his/her credit card. What do you order?
Chicken chop suey and chips
5. Sitting in church (waiting for the lightning to strike you) and you have a book/magazine tucked inside the hymn sheet. What is it?
Books, oh God, thats a question...something fetishy perhaps.
