The most perfect weekend would be to be with the New York Yankees, at home in Yankee Statium, the Bronx Bombers beat
the Red Sox each game of a four game series, a double hitter
on Sunday, and I get to stay with Derek Jeter, travelling to
night clubs, and Broadway meeting other Yankees, hearing their
stories about the "Glory" years, 1950's, 1970's, 1990's.
I get to sit on the bench with Joe Torres and help him
manage the team, all my decisions are right, and the guys
slap me on the back and thank me for being a Yankee fan for
over 40 years.
Steinbrenner invites me to sit with him in the owner's
booth and discuss the Yankees.
I get to sit in the announcers' booth with John Stirling
and Susan Wallman.
I get autographs from all and life "Hall of Famers" who played for the Yankees, and go out to dinner with them
all.
Throw in a hot tub.
That's a perfect weekend.
