I had a few days off work. when i returned the boss called me into her office and said that she had been trying to get hold of me for two days as they had shifts thast needed to be covered and she did not apreciate tha fact that my mobile was turned off.

I pointed out to her that i was on holiday at the time, and what right did she have to question my turning my phone on.

I lost my rag with her, and said, 'The day you dstart to pay my bills is the day you have the right to tell me how i use my mobile. as long as you dont, it is none of your business."

I quit several weeks later.

The reason i bring this up now is that i have just seen the company advertising jobs in the local paper, and the add says:
