Anyway, here we are, haloween night, the night of Samhain, when the Goddess mourns the oak king. This is the last fire festival of the pagan year. Samhain, or All hallows eve is the night of all souls and a time of great mourning. many pagans beleive that all allows eve is ouside time, at this time of year the doors to the underworld are thrown open and spirits roam the Earth.

Halloween is celebrated in rememberence of the God of corn who sacrificed himself at Lughnasad for the sake of others. Samhain is a rememberance service for the God of vegitation who has departed from the Earth.
