Because that Terry Wogan, a man who earns around half a million pound a year gets paid for hosting a show that claims every penny goes to charity.
In a way then, our donation is going towords his wage.
How can he have the nerve to stand there and ask us to hand over our hard earned cash and he stands there knowing he is getting paid foir it when all around him everyone are offering their services for free?

I do beleive that it's people like him though, and Paxman, and Jonathon Ross that are eating up the BBC budget. It's even starting to affect our local radio station. I listen to radio Sheffield, buit now at night it shuts down and goes over to BBC Leeds.
And is there really any need for BBC's 3 and 4, they could be scrapped and the budgets split between 1 and 2, and radio.

It is a little more complicated than that though...
Just wanted to point out the tabloid "bad BBC" story was the usual tat, dont like to suggest people avoid giving to charity due to wrong information.

I am happy to be a TOG 
and don't believe Terry is taking any money from CiN.
And I love BBC 4 - especially their photography programmes going on at the moment. Money well spent I think.

I dont have digital, but i do think some of the things i have seen advertised on BBC 3 and 4 look ok, i just dont see why they cant be split between 1 and 2 so we could have less repeats on terestreal.

I do give to charity. I have given to children in need, it just anoys me when people like J Ross, and Becham and Robbiie Williams come on telling us to donate when they could give a million and never even miss it.
I think i'll shut up now cos i'm begining to sound like some old grouch with sour grapes...
I will be avoiding it because IT'S SHIT AND SERIOUSLY UN-FUNNY!

didnt watch it again this year just not in the charitable mood lately probably because the courts are telling me which charitys to support and which not to and to be honest if thats the attitude then I wont support any while I work here

Actually it's not, his wage (which he's waiving this year) has always been paid out of the BBC budget not Children in Need funds, no money has gone for staff wages from donations.
