We do it every time we get on a bus or a train or a plane.
We are trusting a total stranger with our destiny.
one mistake from them and they could kill us.
Thats a cheery thought for a Saturday morning isnt it?

I use the metro, but I haven't used a bus since I was a kid and I haven't been on a plane for about 15 years, me is a caveman me is.
It's true! ![]()
i was happier not thinking about it ![]()
but then is there a reason not to trust them?
I have always trusted them, but today the bus driver cut a red light and then had to slam on the brakes throwing passengers down the bus.
ok, that explains your doubts a bit ![]()
im a driver myself and i know on the road you can't trust anybody [including myself]. so putting my life in a bus driver's hands doesnt make me feel any worse than putting it in my own hands ![]()
but i can find few other reasons to avoid public transport [kids on the bus!]
hmm I never really thought about it to be honest but you are right but then again everytime you go out in a car you entrust your life to strangers as some of them dont know the highway code
