  • Do you know what really anoys me?

Well, lots of things truth be told, but for the sake of this post we'll forget about the other things for a while.

What gets on my nerves is so so called 'magazine' programmes like This morning that dont seem to know if they are light entertainment or hard news shows.

The other day i happened upon this morning and Fern and Phill were on the sofa with a woman who was tellintg the harowing tale of how she had been raped.

She went on to say how it had destroyed her life, she was scared to be alone, even contemplated taking her own life.

Phill and fern look concerned, nod in all the right places, but then, mid conversation say...

"Sorry, we have to leave it there...for this...."

Then over on the other side of the stuidio is a clown jugling flaming battons whilst sitting on a unicycle and singing 'let me entertain you.'.

That poor woman was opening her heart to you and you cut her off for this?

  • Nuts!

Michelle is on nights tonight so i'm sitting here with family Guy DVD box set, a vodka, and i just made the mistake of opening a 500g bag of KP salted pea nuts, and as I have no body here to take the bag away from me I may just sit here and eat them all. Where is my will power? How can a bag of nuts get the better of me? It's the same with Pringles, what they say is true, 'once you pop you cant stop.'

  • Yesterday

for the first time in ages me and Michelle went to McDonalds for lunch. It was full of screaming kids - I had forgotten that it was half term, what with not being a parent.
After we ate we went to do a little shopping, bought season 4 of family Guy on DVD, which i am starting to enjoy almost as much as The Simpsons.

Wew also called into Ann Summers for a little browse, bought a few things and we were in such a hurry to get home (?) we forgot that we were going to go to the cinema to se The orphanage. Have to save that for another day.

  • Last night I had the strangest dream

Call me crazy  but I dreamet that I was in a mirror universe, talking to Alan Sugar who was a brilliant comedian with a great sense of humour, and Sean Slater from Eastenders who was a really friendly bloke.

  • Happy birthday Not Bob

    Have a good one.

  • Normal service is resumed

The Easter break is over and I am back at work, my nans house is now stripped bare and the keys returned to the council. The funeral is over with, and we have said our last good byes to her.

During the clearing of the house we came upon boxes and boxes of photographs, some dating back 60 years. I have been trying to compile them them into a family album, as best as i can in chronological order, but as only a handfull of them are dated i'm having to try and do it by judging the age of people in the photos, and erm....hiding the ones of me back in the eighties with the tash and streaked blonde mullet, white socks and blue jeans and pencil thin leather tie over striped shirt....how did i ever think that was a cool look?

  • BBC letter

Yesterday i received a letter in the mail informing me that the BBc have received my script. The letter said I will hear from them within 4 months, whether they chose to use my script or not. ;)
