Acording to a new book, Oliver Reed once downed 142 pints in a 24 hour period.
Also, on a film set his character had to down a whisky, Olie aparently demanded the real thing, and then went on to take 24 takes.

Did you know that he only drank 4 days a week too? He reckoned it was unhealthy to drink all the time, so he had 3 non-drinking days every week. I don't believe that 142 pints thing either - that would be at least one trip to the toilet every 10 minutes.
