Yes, Yet another rejection letter came through the post yesterday. Am I dishartened? You bet I am. Am I going to let it get me down? Probably. Am I going to give in? Never.
One thing keeping me going is the fact that so many of the top writers were rejected would be writers at one time, and In have many ideas that I need to get down on paper, ideas foe new stories.
I never leave the house without a nite pad and pen, and I do admit to taking notes from over heard conversations on busses and trains, and in cafe's and bars. There are so many interesting people out there with stories to tell.
One thing that does anger me, I have to say is the number of 'celebrity' writers. Are they getting into print because they have writen something of worth, or is it just because the publishers know that a celebrity name is going to sell books?
Bitter? Me? Just a little, but watch this space, I aint beaten yet.

Just keep on going. If your 1st book doesn't make it, maybe your 2nd or 3rd will. If they don't, at least your writing gets better every time. Stay positive.
