Yea, the frosty mornings are pretty for a short while, but it's no fun standing at the bus stop with that bitting chill chewing on your ear lobes.

I wouldnt mind so much if we had had a decent summer, or could look forward to a decent summer next year, but we never seem to get one these days.

Sometimes I think the wild animals have the best idea by hibernating through the Winter, and just think how much we would save on grocery and fuel bills, we would miss christmas, but that would save us a few quids too.

I think I am perhaps afflicted with SAD, I always feel down with the dark mornings, and the dark returning whilst I'm still at work, getting on the bus in the dark, home to a cold house..

At least I have a coulple of things to look forward too this week, a Halloween fancy dress on Thursday, and tyhen on Friday Bond opens..

but there isnt any in the house, and I really cant be bothered to walk to the shop to get some.

No, It's not Ant and Decks gangster names, it's what I am feeling after spending all day sitting at the computer and typing up twenty pages of my script.

I think it's time to swich off the lap top now and rest my weary eyes.

The alarm didnt go off (or I slept through it  ).  Michelle suddenly jumped up, and cried out 'Oh my god. it's ten past eight.'    On a normal day she leaves for work at 7.45, and me at 8.20.   We dressed quickley, fought for the bathroom, she won so whilst she sorted herself I fed the cat. 

Michelle rused off quickly, I herard the door slam and her car pull out of the drive as i slapped shaving foam on my face and ripped at my flesh with the blunting razor blade, no time to fit a new one, not even time to ,make a packed lunch, and I took the breadcakes out of the freezer to defrost last night especially .

My hair resembled some type of mohawk, but there was no time to gel it, i put on my shoes, grabbed my coat, wallet and mobile and headed for the door.  It was at that moment the cat chose to vomit on the cream carpet.  I had no option but to clean it, if i left it all day it would stain.

Time was getting on, by this point my bus had already gone so it meant having to get the larter one.  I went onto my wallet for bus fair, 20p short, and just a £20 note.  Last time i tried to pay on the bus with a twenty he told me where to get off, literally .  So I had to rade the piggy bank where we keep all the coppers.

I rushed out of the house, to the bus stop just in time to see the next bus pulling away.

So, I was late for work, no breakfast, not even my regulation first coffee of the day, we have two reps coming in today and I feel urgh!!

I'm back at work today after a long weekend. Have been in D H Lawrence country, Eastwood in Nottingham, where he was born.

Didnt want to getup when the alarm went off today, I hate dark mornings.

And it's my weekend off.

So in 12 minuites I'm done in work untill Moday morning. Wayhay!!

The phone just rang, I rushed to answer it, lifted the receiver to my ear, said in my best telephone voice,

'Good morning. Wellgate arts and crafts, how may I help you?'

There was silence.

'Hello.' I said. 'Hello.'

Then came a recorded message.

'You have been contacted by AOL busines consultancy. We do not have an agent avalable to talk to you. We will call at a later date.'

Quantom of solace opens in a couple of weeks, and I cant wait.

We won tickets to the premier of Cassino Royale, I doubt we can be lucky enough to do the same again, although I have entered a competition to win a trip to the Doctor who/Torchwood/Sarah Jane set in Cardif.

Ordered a coiple of halloween fancy dress costumes from an on line costume store.

Items were, according to the site in stock. We stated they were needed for halloween, and were told they would be dispached within two days.

This was over aweek ago, and no sign of them, thoughh the money came out of the account the day after we placed the oreder..

Today, called said company to be told that they are out of stock and wil be untill early November.

But they are fecking halloween costumes, after that they aere of no use anymore.

So, they refundud us...Now we have to find something else.

and the point of it is?

The carrots and parsnips that we have been growing have not done to well, and all the tomatos split due to uneven watering thanks to the wet weather.

So much for growing our own vegies, dont think well bother next year.

Well, to quote that bloke on the Jamie Oliver thing,

"We like us chips in Rotherham."

It has taken to recording two programes at the same time.

Our shop, or at least the building our shop is in dates back to at least 1845.

We have , several times heard footsteps and voices when nobody is there, heard pots of paint rattle as if somebody is looking at them, but the shop is empty, pictures in the gallery fall over out of the racks when not touched.

But just now, I swear I felt a hand in the middle of my spine like I was being pushed, but there isnt anybody here!

So the latest initiative to get more people into the library, as user numbers dwindle is to do away with the 'silence' and make it more like a coffee shop so people can chat over a book with a coffee.

Or, you could just check the book out and go to Starbucks.

The library is the one remaining safe haven where you are sure to get a bit of peace.

Looking at the forcast it looks like being a wet weekend, and tomorow we were planning on making a packed lunch and going out for a walk. Think we might have to forget that idea if it rains as heavy as the local forcast predicts.
