I just walked past Woolies. or what was woolies and the place has been gutted, its like a large open plan wearhouse.
It seemed so strane glancing in and seeing it like that.
Now Mand S are on the skids, and Next, MFI have gone, Adams have gone...
There wont be any shops left at this rate...

Yea, cutting staff and closing stores, mostly the simply food stores.

tell me about it the shops are vanishing at a staggering rate arent they mind you I didnt hear about M&S or Next but I remember M&S having trouble even before the credit crunch so I woulkdnt be surprised. I wonder what other big names will be going down the skids before all this picks up a little??

We have just had a new Adams open here and although it's not being mentioned it's closing down here, it probably will!

Pro Felt the same walking past my local Woolworths yesterday. It made the shopping centre eerily quiet.
