Just to set the record straight, so to speak....
I made a comment about adults reading Harry Potter, and sugetsed it was wrong because it's a childrens book.
In all honesty, I dont have any problems with this atall, It was only meant as a tongue in cheek quip.....
I would hate for people to think that I was having a go.....
And now I feel I need to confess to a deep dark secret.....
Last week I read (coughs) 'Georges marvelous medicine.........'

George's Marvellous Medicine is one of the best books EVER 
We used to have it on tape, when we were little, and listened to it in tha car whenever we went anywhere.
Was awesome.

I read--and own children's books, and don't think anything of it...but then, I'm addicted to reading, and have even read the phone directory, when starved for reading materials. However, I read what you wrote before, and didn't get upset, and never took umbridge with your viewpoint, and never will.
You're very entitled to your opinion, and I'm sure you're not alone. I've known some adults who've thought that reading fiction books that were written in the first person, was silly.
Nothing wrong with it. Actually Potter is not a childrens book as it is far far too dark for children. It was I believe written for teens in mind and somehow Hollywood mannged to turn it into a little kids thing for marketing. I wonder what parents who read the books to their little kids are doing as they stumble into book 6. Lots of people read lots of things and no one would take what you said in the wrong way...well there most likely would be someone as there always is.

I read a Famous Five book the other week to revive some memories, preceded by A Commonwealth of Thieves and followed by Schindler's Ark both by the same author.
Sometimes when reading gets too heavy, such as Sholokov's Quiet Flows The Don, I'll revert to something easier and our sole Enid Blyton book filled the void.
